Diagnose. Treat. Prevent.

Your individual treatment plan is tailored to your personal needs. Therapeutic goals are achieved using the following techniques.
Please click on the technique below for a quick overview.
chiropractic Adjustment
Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) is performed on the spine and other joints in the body. It is a safe and effective way of moving an unaligned or restricted joint using a quick, high velocity thrust. It is designed to relieve pressure on joints, reduce inflammation, and improve nerve function.
Often used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and headache pain, an adjustment may be associated with a popping sound. Spinal adjustments are an authorized Act in Ontario, requiring a high degree of skill, and only a few professions (including chiropractors) are legally allowed to perform this act.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Spinal decompression therapy is similar to traction therapy. It is performed using a computerized decompression table and recommended for patients with chronic disc disease or spinal stenosis in the cervical or lumbar regions.
Mobilization
Like adjustments, mobilizations aim to improve movement or restore alignment of a joint, but using a slower, oscillating movement to the joint.
Mobilizations may be used to gently encourage motion in a joint with adhesions or when a patient is not comfortable with an adjustment.
Myofascial Release Therapy
This technique involves stretching and stripping of muscles. Like a deep tissue massage, MRT helps to release tight muscles, break up scar tissue and restore circulation and motion to dysfunctional muscle or connective tissues.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves inserting very thin needles into specific points on the body. Used as a healing technique for thousands of years, recent studies have shown acupuncture to be effective in reducing pain and inflammation in the body.
IFC & ULTRasound
Interferential Current (IFC) and ultrasound therapies can be used to decrease pain, reduce inflammation and promote healing.  IFC decreases muscle tension and involves placing four pads around the problem area
and running a specific current through these pads. Patients report a pleasant, buzzing sensation during this treatment.
Ultrasound uses mechanical energy administered through an ultrasound head. Patients experience warmth under the massage of the ultrasound head during treatment.
